Mug Rugs are literally rugs for mugs! They are small place mats which are just big enough for a big mug and a cookie or a small plate. Mug rugs can be made in all sorts of patterns and shapes. I will show you here how to sew these two beautiful patchwork variations: one of the mug rugs is made of little squares while the other one is made of stripes. Mug rugs are most beautiful when they are made of fabrics that match in color but have very different patterns.
Mug rugs are easy to sew, all you need are different cotton fabrics and some volume vlies. So dust off your sewing machine and let's start sewing!
The eBook consists of 20 pages with detailed instructions and 65 photos! The finished mug rugs are approximateldy 16 cm x 20 cm big.

haalu
My name is Hilke and I am a knitter from Aachen, who loves to sew. Haalu has already been around since June 2013. First I sold handmade purses, pencil cases or mobile phone cases on Dawanda, simply because I didn't need as much stuff as I was making. :) Some time ago I have started writing my own sewing and knitting ebooks to help others find their own enjoyment in crafting.
