Materials you need at home:
- I’m using 100% cotton fabric, you can use calico cotton, Kona cotton, lightweight quilting cotton, or linen.
- Yarn for the hair;
- You are going to need a strong thread, like heavy nylon upholstery sewing thread;
- 2 x craft safety eyes
- 2 x plastic shank buttons
- Embroidery thread
- Felt fabric for baby’s body, shoes, and flower headband;
- Dress fabric, elastic, velcro tape
- Stuffing (non-allergenic toy filling, polyfill, wool, etc.).
Sew your own cloth dolls, Mom and Baby with the dress, floral headband, head bow, shoes, and sling carrier. All clothes are removable. The baby's face is embroidered, and the Mom's face is a combination of craft plastic eyes and embroidery.
Experience sewing cloth dolls is not necessary, just some basic sewing skills. And, I'm just an email away so please don’t hesitate to contact me.
