Molène is a small crescent shawl worked bottom-up. The wide lace border is achieved first, worked vertically through 31 stitches. Then stitches are picked up along one of the long sides to complete the garter stitch top of the shawlette. A set of decreased and short rows shapes its crescent form, well curved in the middle to hug the neck. It is worked like lightning and you get a charming shawl in few evenings. It will be perfect for all seasons. Level: Advanced beginner. Size: One size. Depth: 11.5 in (29 cm). Wingspan: 44 in (112 cm).
