This stitchery is part of my Monthly Camper Embroidery Series. Included are photos and directions for embroidering the May Camper and directions for finishing it into Hoop Art. The May design reflects the coming of summer. Planters and vases filled with flowers. A clothesline with the sweetest laundry items hanging from it. A little clothespin bag on the left of the clothesline too. An ironing board and laundry basket all to make doing the laundry a little bit more enjoyable. The birdhouse has a little patriotic design with red and white stripes on a blue background. Also on the red hutch is a Mason glass jar filled with bright yellow blooms. Fun and easy to stitch!
Everything in this series is meant to be simple. Simple to stitch, simple to complete. The design is the focus. There is a basic Backstitch that will be used that outlines the design using different shades of embroidery floss. DMC Embroidery floss is the floss I chose to use, it has a wide range of colors and is easily located in most fabric, craft and sewing stores.

I am a professional pattern designer, seamstress and miniature maker. As a little girl my parents gave me little toys and sewing projects to keep me quiet in church! Those interests turned into skills, and in my later life turned into a wonderful thriving business! My goal in making patterns is to make them as simple as possible, while using the prettiest fabric. Putting the two together hopefully results in a wonderful finished product or item!
