This cute little elephant stands just 4 inches tall when completed (10 cm). She has thread jointed limbs and requires a small cotter pin for her head.
Her pattern has easy to follow instructions and includes a short tutorial on shading her features and her simple pretty skirt.
She is best made in a short or sparse fur (my elephants pictured are wearing sparse mohair). Any short pile fabric could be used (velvet, mini plush ...) Her inner ears can be fabric or felt and she loves to carry a small flower in her trunk : )
She is perfect to use up any remnant fabrics and I've had great fun making her in different colours - hope you do too x

I love making softies, from cute and cuddly to slightly quirky (like me). You'll find a whole menagerie of animals to sew from teds to lions, with the odd dragon and ostritch too. Hope you enjoy stitching them - and have fun x
