With the Madelone trouser pattern, you can sew yourself an extravagant trouser skirt or wrap trousers that can accompany you through the summer.

The trousers are designed as culotte trousers and have a wrap-around section so that the trousers look like trousers - a trouser skirt or wrap-around trousers, depending on the perspective. The trousers have a pocket opening on one side, giving them a sporty look.

The trousers are quick and easy to sew. It is a little tricky to attach the button that secures the wrap - but we have described this step in detail so that you should be able to manage it.

We recommend using flowing woven fabrics for the pattern; linen or viscose fabrics are ideal. We do NOT recommend jersey and muslin.
