Who doesn't love that sweet llama face and those pretty llama eyes? Llamas are quirky, unique, beautiful and loveable- just like us sewers :) This Llama is a perfect addition to a fun and trendy decor- including baby, kids, tweens and teenagers. It is created like a pillow (the fur is so soft and cuddly!) but also fun for kids to play with (baby dolls love to take a ride!). Don't worry though- this pillow it's not just for the young crowd! Any animal lover will adore the darling face and unique design of this llama.
Sewing LuLu Llama is surprisingly simple. Beginners will delight in creating something so fun and unique. Advanced sewers will enjoy showing their skills on the embroidered face, the blanket, the many possibilities to customize this fun project.
The finished Llama measures 15'' x 11'' x 6''. Materials to make this project include a 1/2 yard of faux fur, polyester fiber fill, small pieces of quilting cotton, felt and embroidery floss. A walking foot is recommended but not required! Sewing through thick layers and around curves are a requirement.
Included in the pattern are extra instructions and links to tutorials for working with faux fur and simple embroidery. Faux fur is surprisingly easy and fun to work with! Also included are full pattern pieces (5 pages) with seam allowances included. The simple and detailed instructions feature many bright and clear photos for the visual learner.
Are you ready to spread the LuLu Llama love?? You can sew this project in just a few hours (aka nap time) and have a fabulous and unique gift or decor piece ready to go!
You are permitted to sell llamas made from this pattern on a small handmade scale online or at craft shows as long as credit is given to Gingercake patterns. Reproduction of the sewing pattern is not permitted under any circumstances.
