Materials you need at home:
- 1 fat quarter - 1 yd/m, depending on the pouch size, of light to medium-weight woven fabric
- Fusible interfacing such as Vlieseline G700 or Pellon SF101 (optional, but recommended if you want to give your pouches a firmer finish) - same yardage as for the exterior
- Size 5 (No 5 or #5) nylon zipper (so you can sew over it) - at least 5⅝" (14cm) for size Small, 10⅛" (25.4cm) for size Medium, and 14⅝" (36.8cm) for size Large
- Marking aids, such as an erasable pen or chalk
- Sewing machine with a zipper foot attachment
- Size 12 (80) (or one suitable for your fabric) machine needle (universal)
- Matching machine-sewing thread
- Sewing clips or pins, optional temporary basting glue
- Fabric scissors
- Steam iron, ironing board, and pressing aids
