This can be done with the two different keyhole options or a snap/button placket, included in the pattern.   Although the racerback shape is more subtle on the children's version than on the women's, it leaves an unmistakable impression.   Lillelüttchen can be sewn up as a top or dress out of any stretchy fabrics, though cotton lycra is most suitable. The yoke and the side stripe can also be sewn with wovens.
