Lena - Baby Pants
The "Lena" pattern is a comfy pair of baby pants, perfect for sewing with jersey or sweat fabric.
These baby pants can be made with either an elastic waistband or a knitted ribbing cuff. The waistband can be sewn as a simple waist cuff or as a grow-along cuff for extra versatility.
If you're looking for a quicker project, you can even sew the shorts without side seams. This saves time and makes it super easy to put together.
Variations included:
- Side seams: You can sew the pants with or without side seams.
- Waistband: Choose between an elastic band or a ribbing cuff.
- Hem: Opt for a regular hem or add cuffs to the legs.
- Grow-along cuffs: For the cuffs, you can select regular cuffs or grow-along cuffs.
- Decorative trim: Optionally, you can add decorative trim to make the baby pants even more special.
The pattern includes both single-size and multi-size versions, ranging from sizes 44 to 98, and comes with A4, Letter, and A0/A1 formats (with seam allowances included). The pattern sizes correspond to standard baby clothing sizes. Model 1 (elastic waistband and regular hem) and Model 2 (belly and foot cuffs) are described separately. All measurements are provided in both centimeters and inches.
