There is a collar. There are different kinds of pleats. And there is the shirt wristband with a button tab. There are a few techniques to master, that’s why I put it in the advanced category. But whatever your lever is, if you’re eager to learn, you can definitely make it if you make a mock up first to master the different techniques before you make it with the final fabric. That’s personally what I do when I’m faced with a new technique or a technique I still lack confidence in.

Anyway, just to say that there is no absolute rule. It is just a way to gage the level of technique the design requires.
