Vest for women Vest Tara is a versatile piece of clothing that can be dressed up or down, depending on the occasion. I have knitted these vests with a mix of cotton, merino and alpaca (Lana Grossa - Ecopuno print), which is more suitable for spring, summer and fall. If you would change the yarn to wool this vest will be for winter layering.
Vest Tara is knitted bottom up and is easy to knit, because you use only easy stitches (knit and purl) and you don’t have to increase or decrease.
In the pattern you will find 2 versions:
You can knit the bottom part of the vest in the round (version 1) Or you can knit flat and make a front and back piece and sew the sides together (version 2). Knit in round: when we reach the armholes we divide the vest into a front and back piece. The rest of the top will be knitted flat and we sew the shoulder seams
Knit flat: we knit 2 identical pieces and sew the side seams and shoulder seams.
This vest is described in 5 sizes (S, M, L, XL and XXL) and is available in English.
