Bolero SEDIKIT for knit fabrics is a beautiful companion. A feminine cardigan with a chic slim cut. In terms of appearance, you can choose between the curved front hem line as a sweet crop version or with pointed edge hem line in waist length. The cardigan has a bias tape binding with elastic bias tape (e.g. made from the knit fabric) and is closed with a button in the front. Thus, it is sewn in the blink of an eye and perfect for any occasion - whether combined with a festive dress like MERIAH or with a simple top like RELA. Stretchy knit fabrics with a beautiful drape are best suited for the cardigan. Depending on whether you use a noble fine knit, a casual coarse knit or a jacquard knit, it always looks different, of course!
SEDIKIT means "a little" in Indonesian. This cute bolero will indeed be worn when the weather is a little unsettled and in between warm and cold.
Sewing level:
The bolero jacket SEDIKIT is a quick and easy sewing project. No matter how little or how much sewing experience you have, you may confidently attempt this pattern and can even create a last-minute accessory for your entrance - if you spontaneously fancy a new look. There is hardly a faster to sew pattern than this one :-)
Fabric recommendations:
Stretchy knitted fabrics with a beautiful drape are best suited for the bolero. Depending on whether you use a classy fine knit, a casual coarse knit, jacquard knit or even French terry, it will always look different, of course!
For fabrics that could quickly wear out or curl up, such as e.g. knitted fabrics or viscose knit fabrics, we recommend reinforcing the shoulder seams and neckline. Suitable for this is e.g. flexible interfacing seam tape.
