Crafty Intentions CROCHET PATTERN Juvenile Dragon (printable PDF-file / 79 pages)
A tiny youngling of a dragon! This little one is just about ready to start learning how to fly, but definitely still needs an afternoon nap to avoid the grumpies. The effect is amigurumi-like, though there are some distinct techniques used that are not used in single crochet-only amigurumi. The gauge is not crucial to the pattern as long as the stitches are tight enough to hold stuffing. Includes many options for different poses so that you can use to create your own unique little dragon! The perfect toy for a girl or boy, young or old!
There are specific instructions for 19 different body parts that you can selectively combine into many different body positions. Seven unique body positions are explained and identified in the pattern including sitting, standing, laying down, sleeping, playful, climbing, etc. You can also combine different limb patterns for unique body positions of your own making. Have fun with it!
This pattern is 79 pages long and contains a full set of instructions with photographic illustrations, and a full set of printer-friendly, text-only instructions. The last 26 pages are the text-only instructions.
Pictures that include a larger and smaller dragon are to note the difference in size between the original dragon pattern and this Juvenile Dragon pattern. This little Dragonet is much smaller, fits in the palm of your hand, and takes about one third of the time that the original dragon takes to make.
This pattern is available in English, Spanish, German, and French. Translations can be found in the attached ZIP file. Este patrón está disponible en español. Diese Anleitung ist sowohl auf Deutsch erhältlich. Une traduction française du patron est maintenant disponible.
