Your new basic shirt that is anything but boring or basic. With CAMILA you get more than just a new basic piece in your closet and I can promise you, sewing CAMILA can be addictive!

CAMILA is a fitted shirt with half-length or long sleeves and two neckline options. You can choose between a beautifully shaped heart neckline or a modern square neckline. The neckline is always trimmed with a facing. This finish makes your neckline very neat and clean. It is also very suitable for beginners.

The sleeves of CAMILA are slightly gathered at the upper shoulder, which creates a small puff sleeve, but not too much. Through the light puff sleeves, the necklines and your shoulders are great in scene.

In the front CAMILA has two horizontal bust darts. The bust darts prevent the unsightly wrinkles under your arms. In the small sizes the darts are very narrow and can be kept. Of course you can also sew them normally. From size 40 I would recommend you to sew the darts always normally.

👗 FABRIC SELECTION: CAMILA is designed for stretchy fabrics. You can use for example a cotton jersey but also viscose jersey. With a slightly thicker cotton jersey, the shirt is naturally a little tighter on the body than with a rather thinner viscose jersey. Also, the puffed sleeves will be a bit more accentuated with a cotton jersey.

For beginners, I would recommend using a cotton jersey first. Viscose jersey can sometimes be a bit slippery.

You can wear CAMILA all year round and it is really quick to sew. If you already have sewing experience, you will have sewn CAMILA easily in an hour.

😎 WHAT YOU WILL GET: All my sewing patterns include detailed instructions, helpful sewing tips, and colour photos showing you each step. You can also find a lot of youtube tutorials for the most pattern on my YouTube Channel (La Bavarese). The YouTube videos are in German.

You will get the pattern as a PDF file on A4 and US Letter paper. You will also get A0 files to print the pattern at your copyshop. Seam allowance is already included.

All files are divided into layers. You have the possibility to display only your desired sizes. This makes the lines less confusing and if you are between two sizes, you can print them all at once.

All patterns are designed by me. The construction of the patterns as well as the grading is done by my professional and experienced pattern director.
