A lovely oddball character, Jaffa is 13 inches (33 cm) tall when completed. She has a little needle sculpting to create her face and is five way jointed. Her pattern includes a cheeky younger version, complete with nappy : ) Jaffa's pattern has easy to follow instructions and although some experience of making soft toys will be helpful, I've aimed her pattern at beginners too. Lots of reference photos and illustrations will help create your own cheeky ape. They love to be made in a long, shaggy fur - the two pictured are wearing simple craft furs.

I love making softies, from cute and cuddly to slightly quirky (like me). You'll find a whole menagerie of animals to sew from teds to lions, with the odd dragon and ostritch too. Hope you enjoy stitching them - and have fun x
