(I used 285 yards; 260 meters) , Color 2 (CC2) Merino Fingering Singles, 100% Superwash Merino by NBK, 400 yards, 365 meters per 100 gr, colorway Nectar, one skein. (I used 385 yards; 350 meters) , Color 3 (CC3) Superwash Merino/Nylon Fingering, 75% Superwash Merino, 25% Nylon by NBK, 460 yards; 420 meters , per 100 gr, colorway Faun, one skein. (I used 385 yards; 350 meters)
- Needles US 4; 3.5 mm circular needle (47 inches; 120 long) or other size to obtain gauge.
- Other Tapestry needle for weaving end.
- GAUGE , 26 sts and 32 rows for 4 inches; 10 cm in garter st after a light block. , The gauge isn’t crucial to this project, but differences will affect the finished size as well as the required yardage
This shawl is constructed sideways from tip to tip. Some sts are increased at one side while some sts are decreased on the opposite, giving this triangle its biased look.
Size: Approx. 75 inches; 190 cm in wingspan and 21 ½ inches; 55 cm in depth, after block.
