The Jameela Jacket is a cozy jacket pattern with two length options: Hip length or cropped. This jacket is a quick sew as it is unlined and has simple design lines. It features two big welt pockets at the front and a box pleat at the back. The cropped version comes with a sleeve placket and a sleeve cuff whilst the longer version features a simple sleeve hem. I hope you enjoy sewing your Jameela Jacket just as much as I enjoyed putting the pattern together.

I am a passionate sewist from Bern, Switzerland.
I love making things. In our fast paced world, there is nothing more calming than sitting behind a little handmade project and enjoying the slow making. It is self-care. Creating something you love with your hands and a few tools is pure magic.
The rhythm of buying cheap clothes, declutter them and buy new ones tires me out. I do not believe in fast fashion. The amount of resources that go to waste in the fashion industry is shocking.
I believe in quality clothing that fits us and makes us feel beautiful. Clothing that is made to last and that we get attached to for years. I believe that the best way to get this sort of clothing is making it ourselves. Sewing allows us to make garments that fit our unique bodies perfectly. It gives us the power to make clothing exactly the way we want them to be. Once you own one of these perfect and personal garments, you will not declutter it and buy a new one for a long, long time. This is one of the many ways to a more sustainable relationship to fashion.
With my sewing patterns, I want to share my passion for handmade clothing. I hope I can inspire you to make a piece for your wardrobe that you will love forever.
