Materials you need at home:
- 50-60g yarn ( I used Drops BabyAlpacaSilk for the hats in the pictures)
- set of DPNs 2,5mm / US1.5 and 3mm/US2.5
The inspiration for these hats come from the image of a snow powdered hilltop. The name Huegel comes from the german word "Hügel" which simply means "hill". The Huegel hat is a beginner level beanie worked with 2 strands of yarn and thus creating an ombre like mix of colors.
The pattern includes instructions for 4 sizes (adult, 8-12years, 4-7years, 1-3 years).
Finished measurements 1-3 years – 35cm/13.8inch for head circumference 40.5cm/16inch 4-7 years – 40cm/15.75inch for head circumference 45.75cm/18inch 8-12 years – 42.5cm/16.75inch for head circumference 51cm/20 inch adult – 45cm/17.7inch for head circumference 55cm/22inch
