What’s this: This is the Hope shell, designed for the 2017 Progress, Hope & Happiness event.
Why should I make this: This shell is stunning both in its texture, and in its versatility.
When will this get the most use: Hope can be worn in so many ways, that it will become a wardrobe staple. Who is it for: Sized XS (S, M, L, XL, 2XL) to fit bust: 28”-30” (32”-34”, 36”-38”, 40”-42”, 44”-46”, 48’’-50’’).
Where do I start: This pattern is rated Intermediate - you’ll need to know or be eager to learn the basic crochet stitches, as well as post stitches. You will need 200g to 600g of fingering weight yarn (used here, Mulberry Cottage Yarns Merino Bamboo) & a 3.75mm hook. Other notions: a yarn needle, and some stitch markers.
