For these socks a heart design (Fair Isle) is knitted, which is inverted after the heel. Please keep the floats behind the work loose, otherwise the socks will be too narrow.
The heel is a two-color German short row heel.
The socks are finished with a wedge toe.
Gauge: 30 stitches and 40 rows to 10 cm
To knit one pair of socks you will need sock yarn (4-ply) in two different colors (about 50 g each).
The pattern is written for shoe sizes 22-45 (EU) and you need to cast on a multiple of 8 stitches.
The pattern calls for DPNs in 2.75 mm, but you can also use the Magic loop technique.
The pattern includes step-by-step instructions for the heel and toe and charts for the heart designs.

haalu
My name is Hilke and I am a knitter from Aachen, who loves to sew. Haalu has already been around since June 2013. First I sold handmade purses, pencil cases or mobile phone cases on Dawanda, simply because I didn't need as much stuff as I was making. :) Some time ago I have started writing my own sewing and knitting ebooks to help others find their own enjoyment in crafting.
