This JULAWI pattern shows you how to sew a set of hat and tube scarf with a slim fit. Included are the templates for a head circumference of 42cm (16.5’’) to 58cm (23’’). The set is sewn from two layers of stretchy jersey, making it soft and very comfortable to wear. The hat adapts to any head shape due to the stretchy fabric and keeps warm because of the two layers. The cuff and the slim fit ensure a good fit. So this hat is perfectly suited for wearing under a bike helmet or under a jacket hood. The slim fit of the tube scarf prevents it from slipping down the neck. Front and back of the scarf is slightly longer to keep chest and neck warm. It is simply pulled over the head and can thus not open when playing. This set is ideal for colder and windy days. However, you can also use thicker fabrics like fleece or sweat to get a cozy winter set. If you want to use very thick fabrics like teddy fleece, please choose the pattern one size bigger. Hat and tube scarf are easy to sew and suitable for beginners. The sewing instructions show you step by step how it is done with lots of pictures. All seams are invisible, so that this set is reversible.
