The Gingerbread House Tea Cosy knitting pattern knits up to make a wonderful,, calorie free Gingerbread House for your teapot.
It's such a joyful tea cosy. It's bright and cheerful, and oozes festive cheery whilst keeping the teapot hot. A wonderfully decorative project that will look amazing.
The main part of the house is the main part of the tea cosy, and then the roof is knitted separately. The knitting stitch for the tiles is an easy slip stitch pattern, and it looks fantastic, as if it was decorated with icing.
The spout and handle are at the sides of the house and the front and back of the gingerbread house have the gable ends of the roof. Gable ends are very important with gingerbread houses because its lovely to see the icing dripping down like icicles, in this case its knitted icicles.
The house is decorated with small sweeties and striped candy canes, it looks really colorful and full of joy.
If you want to turn your teapot into a gingerbread house sensation then the gingerbread house tea cosy knitting pattern is the perfect project for you!
The 6 page knitting pattern contains lots of photos to help and guide you.
The pattern is knitted on two pins and is easy to follow.

I design and knit unique tea cosies. I really love designing exciting and unusual tea cosies, its great fun and people don’t mind having an over the top tea cosy. Plus they are a great talking point at tea time and make for brilliant knitting projects.
I have quite a following with regular customers who regularly buy my latest designs from my website TeaCosyFolk.co.uk
I have had a couple of patterns printed in the Simply Knitting Magazine, which is very exciting.
