Gaby is a princess-seam dress or top/blouse for women and children, perfect for mid-seasons. It features several unique panels and an invisible zipper at the front neckline for easy opening and closing.
Gaby is a multi-option pattern. You can choose between two types of collars (applied with collar stand or Mao) and two types of sleeves (classic, adjustable to the desired length, or butterfly, also adjustable in length). Gaby can also be sewn without a collar or sleeves, offering even more variations. And as a bonus, you can even add pockets if you like.
It is available in sizes 34 to 56 (12 sizes), with size adjustments for different body types. For the bust, size 34 corresponds to an A cup, and size 56 to an E cup. The garment’s ease is also adjustable to ensure a good fit.
As for the length, Gaby reaches mid-thigh, but you can shorten it (for a top version) or lengthen it as desired, and the same goes for the sleeves. You can assemble it with an overlocker (except for certain steps) or with a sewing machine.
The booklet includes all the necessary information to adjust the pattern to your body type. I explain how to blend between sizes, perform an SBA or FBA (Small Bust Adjustment or Full Bust Adjustment), and the steps to lengthen or shorten different elements.
Gaby is also available for children aged 2 to 14 years, either alone or in a duo pack.
