Fitz is a joggers or shorts pattern available for boys from 2 to 16 years old. The cut is adjusted at the hips and the thighs, and tight to the calves (for the joggers version). Two versions are possible. The first one (version A) is basic, with a vertical seam at the side. The second one (version B) has a curved side seam, in which you can insert a contrasting strip. The joggers has a curved knee reinforcement on which you can sew decorative topstitches. The hem of the shorts of the version B is thus curved. The leg hems of the joggers can be basic, with or without zipper, or made with hem bands. The belt can be made with a waistband in which you insert an elastic, or with a wide decorative elastic that is sewn directly on the top of the joggers / shorts. Fitz will be perfect as a sport or a relax garment for all seasons. It is also perfectly suitable as a pyjama bottom. This model is easy to sew with an overlock/coverlock or a sewing machine. Its simplest version is very fast to sew.
