Materials you need at home:
- fabric: ​1yd of heavy weight fabric or lighter weight fabric + medium weight fusible lining material
- hook and eye
- coordinating thread
- denim or heavy duty sewing needle
the errand bag was designed to be big so that you can load it up and run all of your errands. when you aren't carrying a ton of stuff, you can engage the hook and eye to kind of tuck things out of the way. it has large inside pockets for holding your phone, keys, pens and pencils.
a very basic pattern that anyone can sew up.
mine is made from heavy weight canvas but instructions are given for use of other fabrics. i like using canvas so that i can manipulate the final look of the bag (ie: paint, dye, or stencil it)
