Emae starts at the top, in the middle of the neck, with a garter tab cast on. The first section is worked in stockinette, with regular increases to obtain a crescent shape. Then you change for a complementary colour and a section in reverse stockinette on which small leaves are disseminated. Finally a narrow lace edging is made sideways and attached to the main body as the knitting progress. The knitting is easy as long as you manage to do some increases and decreases.
