These happy little chicks hatched just in time for Easter! With their fluffy hair – and shell hats – they’re ready to be created with beautiful springtime fabrics. Each of the two shell designs is carefully designed to create a stripe pattern – this unique design lets you “dye” the egg with contrasting fabrics as it is paper pieced.
This pattern includes two 12″ quilt blocks, detailed instructions on how to assemble the block, design ideas, and even a coloring page for you to test out your color palette first!
Dimensions: Each quilt block is designed at 12″x12″. Set your printer settings to 50% to create 6″x6″ blocks.
Level: Advanced Beginner/Intermediate. Assumes basic knowledge of paper piecing techniques.
