Fabric recommendations:

The SIHIR pattern is designed for stretchy fabrics. It is important that the fabric can be gathered well. Then the neckline will be particularly beautiful. Suitable fabrics are knit fabric, viscose knit fabric, light knitwear or stretch jacquard.

For fabrics that could quickly loosen or wrinkle, such as knitted fabrics or viscose knit fabrics, we recommend reinforcing the shoulder seams, neckline and waist seam. Suitable for this purpose is e.g. a fusible web flexible seam tape and for the waist elastic tape in 5 mm width or Framilon tape.

Fabric consumption:

For the SIHIR dress you will need the following amounts of fabric (based on 140 cm fabric width plus seam allowances and buffers):

Sizes 34-44 = 2.65 m Sizes 46-56 = 2.90 m

By cleverly sliding the pattern pieces into each other, you can certainly save some fabric.
