Django is a jeans or cargo pants pattern for girls available from 2 to 16 years old. The cut is fitted at the hips, and the legs are wide and straight. This pattern comes in two versions. The first, with a fake fly and an elasticated waistband, is particularly suitable for young children and is easy to make. The second with a zipped fly and a buttoned waistband (obligatory from age 12) is more suitable for teenagers, but requires more attention to detail. This version has back darts, and a buttoned elastic can be inserted into the waistband for a better fit. A choice of pocket options is available: front pockets with or without watch pocket, back patch pockets with or without hammer loop, and side pockets (cargo pockets). You can add belt loops and rivets on the upper pocket corners. Contrast thread topstitching gives the final aesthetic touch. This pattern is not difficult to sew, but requires a little time, especially for the zipped fly version and if you choose all the pocket options.
