Materials you need at home:
- Stylecraft Special DK, 2 balls Duck Egg, 1 ball each White and Storm
- Crochet hook 5mm
- Tapestry needle to weave in ends
This beautiful shawl is a relaxing and economical make. The yarn is Stylecraft Special DK and just 4 balls (400g) makes a good sized, top down, triangle shawl. The pattern repeats are easy to remember and the raised stitches add texture and detail.
Any DK yarn would work well, or even aran (worsted) or 4ply with the appropriate hook. I recommend going up a hook size to encourage drape.
Written pattern in both UK and US terms.
Finished size is approx 75x155cm/29x61”.
Worked top down. Suitable for adventurous beginners up.
