I really do like this ruana. It is very versatile and can be worn in several different ways -- crossed in the front, open in the front, or one front panel over the shoulder. It fits a lot like a rectangular poncho, except that it is open in the front. As you can see from the photos, it has a beautiful drape in the back.
This ruana is worked as one continuous piece. There are no seams.
The stitches for this pattern are double crochet (worked in various combinations of back loops and both loops) and ch-2 spaces.
This ruana is basically one-size-fits-most, but I do provide a gauge and instructions for altering the size.
