Contains:
- PDF Sewing Pattern e-book.
- Detailed sewing instructions with pictures.
- Language English, metric measurements.
- The e-book is 49 pages in A4 format, for printing at home. If you only print the pattern, it is 20 pages.
Materials you need at home:
- You can use almost any kind of fabric. F.x. hessian, linen, washed linen and brocade. But everything from cotton to silk or different polyester qualities can be used.
- Buy new fabric or use what you have. If you do not have a lot of fabric lying around, then you might have a nice scarf, a piece of clothing you do not use, a tablecloth or curtains that you can use.
- All kinds of ribbon. Velor ribbon, sequin ribbon, lace, grosgrain, cotton cord, lace or satin ribbons.
- And maybe a button or 2.
Do you also think it can be overwhelming, seeing all the wrapping paper we throw away every Christmas?
I made this e-book with sewing patterns for different kinds of gift bags and envelopes, which you can sew and reuse year after year, in the hope of finding a more environmentally friendly way to wrap gifts.
The patterns come in many sizes, so you can make a small gift bag for a piece of jewelery or for a small/medium package of LEGO.
The envelopes come in the following sizes: A8, A7, A6, A5 and A4. Perfect for cards with sweet greetings, gift cards or photographs for the family.
You can choose to buy fabric, but it is even better, if you can find something in your home, you can use. It could be a scarf, a tablecloth, a curtain or any clothing you no longer need.
I have been happy to repurpose, among other things, an old linen tablecloth, which was too short for our new dining table, and some old lace ribbons, that I have collected for several years.
I hope you will enjoy the e-book and create beautiful, reusable and memorable gifts for the ones you love. Enjoy.
Poesy Patterns
Poesy Patterns was created in 2017 and has been evolving ever since. I design sewing patterns for women and children and fit is very important to me. When I'm not designing sewing patterns, I teach pattern cutting.
