This pattern contains instructions for three basket sizes. Baskets are made using two balls of yarn throughout the project. This gives the basket this special unique and colorful look. Here yarn suitable for crochet hook US size 4/E-4 (3,5 mm) is used, with the crochet hook US size 8/H-8 (5,0 mm).

The design is suitable for beginner crocheter as only the basic stitch, that is single crochet stitch is used and is also explained. Single crochet stitch is done through both loops.

Please read pattern instructions carefully, especially be careful when stitch needs to be placed into the SAME loop and when into the next. But the main advice you should follow is to make sure that the numer of stitches at the end of each row is as stated in the pattern. This ensures that circle increase (for the base of the basket) is even and sides are straight.
