Pattern “Lena” – Comfortable Baby Pants
The “Lena” pattern is for comfortable baby pants, designed to be sewn from jersey or sweat fabric. The baby pants can be finished with either an elastic waistband or a cuff made from jersey or ribbed knit fabric. The waistband can be sewn as a simple waistband or as a grow-with-me waistband for extended wear.
For a quick project, the pants can even be made without side seams, saving time and making the process easier.
Included Variations:
- Side Seam: Choose between sewing the pants with or without side seams.
- Waistband: Options for an elastic waistband or a cuff made from jersey or ribbed knit.
- Hem: The hem can be finished normally or with a cuff.
- Grow-with-me Waistband: Choose between a regular cuff and an extendable, grow-with-me cuff.
- Decorative Trim: Option to embellish the baby pants with decorative trim.
The pattern includes single-size and multi-size patterns from EU size 44 to 98 / US NB to 3T, formatted for A4, Letter and A0/A1 PDF files with seam allowances. The sizes align approximately with common ready-to-wear sizes. All measurements are provided in both centimeters and inches, featured on the pattern and throughout the instructions.
Model 1 (with elastic waistband and regular hem) and Model 2 (with waistband and foot cuffs) are described separately, making it especially beginner-friendly.
