What’s this? These are my Climbing Vines crochet socks.
Why should I make them? Their sideways construction gives them fantastic horizontal stretch, so you can pull them all the way up above your knees or wear them scrunched down.
When will they get the most use? They’re perfect whether worn as a complement to your loungewear, as a warm layer under your favorite pair of jeans, or as a grungy accent with boots and a short skirt.
Who is it for? Instructions are given for 5 sizes based on adult shoe sizes, with tips on how to adjust to any adult size.
Where do I start? This pattern is rated Intermediate - you’ll need to know or be eager to learn the basic crochet stitches and techniques. You will need 200 g to 300 g of fingering weight sock yarn (I used Stroll by WeCrochet) and a 3,5 mm hook. Other notions: a yarn needle and 2 stitch markers.
Feedback is always welcome, and I hope to see your projects!
