Materials you need at home:
- Fingering weight yarn (#1): 1 100g skein for child version, 2 skeins for adult.
- 2.75mm 1m circular needle for adult sock, 2.25mm 1m circular for child's socks, or corresponding dpns.
- Wool darning needle
These socks feature a vine pattern that fully encircles. The vine starts at the top of the leg, where it grows out of the twisted stitch ribbing, then circles the leg ending up with a more subtle effect of sitting on a stocking stitch background. Left and right twisted stitches are used. No cabling is required. The two socks are mirror images of each other.
