Who can forget Cary Grant in that striped shirt and red scarflette/cravat?! Create your own provocative scaflette, fit for the slinkiest of cat thieves!
This is a pattern for a scarflette, worked flat from end to end, featuring a Texture and Dropped Stitch motif. You may make it as long or short as you like. Scarflette is worked holding 4 strands of colourmart lace weight yarn together.
note about length - There is a point of decrease and increase for the scarflette to weave through the ring. The shorter scarflette is intended to be worn wrapped once around neck, but is long enough to be wrapped twice (as seen in photo) and woven. The longer scarflette is intended to be worn wrapped twice around neck and woven through the ring.
gauge: 23 sts x 28 rows = 4in/10cm over slipped st texture motif. You may work in any gauge; to achieve sample size use suggested gauge.
