The cardigan Cocolina is a wonderful basic that impresses with clean lines and that certain something - the concealed button placket.
If you like it very simple, you can sew Cocolina without accents. For detail lovers, there is the version with the piping on the button placket.
Cocolina is closed with a snap button, which prevents the jacket from sliding over the shoulders, but at the same time gives a nice view of the clothes underneath.
Combined with our paperbag pants Karline, for example, the bow of Karline comes out particularly well.
The pattern can be sewn lined or unlined, and the optional arm wraps allow the jacket to grow with you. Our instructions describe the sewing process step by step and lovely illustrations complement the explanation.
Cocolina is designed for slightly stretchy fabrics - perfect for French Terry, sweat, waffle jersey, but also fine knit fabrics. Especially with sweat/ French terry you can sew the jacket perfectly without lining. If you are sewing the jacket in light knit, you should line it with a light jersey, for example. However, due to the concealed button placket, the fabric should not be too thick.
Our pattern sheets have one selectable layer per size and we have made sure that the A4 print files require as few pattern pieces to be glued together as possible.
In addition, the patterns contain 2 lines per size - with and without seam allowance.
Atelier Tomtit
Classic children's fashion with cute variations and practical details for sustainable outfits -
sewstainable fashion for kids
We develop for you modern, yet timelessly simple patterns and provide detailed instructions to ensure that your project is a success. We take special care that our patterns fit well together. We put a lot of attention to detail into the patterns - so almost all of our patterns come with variations and practical details. The instructions include numerous individual steps and illustrations. Especially with the pattern sheets, we make sure that pattern pieces are placed as ideally as possible on the A4 self-printing pages in order to minimize gluing points, while at the same time having to print out as few pages as possible. That's where sustainability starts for us, too....
