After my first daughter was born, I quickly became enamored with high-quality clothing for her in beautiful textiles and patterns. I also quickly learned that these pieces were out of my small budget. So I took up sewing. I taught myself to sew, slowly becoming inspired by the feeling of creating something for her and bringing a vision to life.
With the addition of three more daughters, I fell in love with PDF sewing files, doing all of my fabric and pattern shopping online while my girls napped, printing off patterns at home and sewing late into the night when I could work undisturbed.
In 2019, I had the desire to share my most beloved patterns with other moms, aunts, and grandmas around the world. Thus began Sweet Mama Makes. I hope you will love creating your own inspired pieces for the little ones in your life from my most favorite patterns!
