With simple playful shapes and bright colours, you are sure to be Blithe & Lightsome in this cardigan!
This is a pattern for a top down circular yoke cardigan with a scoop neck (instruction notes are included if you would like a closer fitted neckline). This cardigan is worked with a steek. Stitches are cast on for the rib neckline, then short rows are worked for neck shaping. The yoke chart is worked in chosen size and then sleeve sts are separated from body sts. Underarm sts are cast on/picked up and each element is worked separately to the edge rib, before bind off.
Since it is top down, sizes may be easily adjusted for best fit. If you need more room over the body or upper arms, simply cast on/pick up additional sts after the yoke is worked. Conversely, you have smaller arms and need fewer sts, do not work the last increase over the yoke chart.
Mona Zillah - bunnymuff
Inspired by the environments around me, I strive to make relevant designs that are clever additions to any outfit; blending traditional and contemporary styles, with a focus on colourwork. Most bunnymuff patterns are easily adjustable for a personal best fit in an extended range of sizes. bunnymuff supports ethical sourcing and climate/people conscious buttons, wool stuffing, and other notions!
