I was so excited when I heard there was to be a live-action movie of one of my most favourite fairytale couples that I just had to get cracking and design Beauty and her Beast in celebration thereof.
I have made my Beast a friendly sort of chap to reflect the big heart that Belle uncovers in their story.
Even now that their little photo shoot is over and their pattern is uploaded, they still stand side by side on my desk and make me smile every time I glance at them.
I hope you and the little people you make them for will get just as much delight out of them as I have.

I am from Johannesburg, South Africa.
Some would comment that I live in my own little world of imaginary creatures and all things fey. To them I ask, does the wind not exist simply because we do not see it?
Whether it be an old bottle cap, a skein of yarn, scraps of material, a piece of wire or a block of wood, I love to spend time creating things of whimsy that I trust will be found to be fun, refreshing and enjoyable to others.
I am also a published cross stitch designer having done work for and with Quick & Easy Cross Stitch magazine (UK), Cross Stitcher magazine (UK), Jeanette Crews Design (USA) as well as DMC Paris.
