The little pleats in the bag body give it a really stylish look without having to go to too much trouble. You could even make it simpler by just gathering the body to fit the top band. This is a good sized tote, just a bit bigger than totes 5 and 6. You could use any of the tote handle styles instead of the ribbon but gross grain ribbon looks great is is easy to use.

Recommended fabrics:

Quilters cotton in plains and patterns.

Supplies Needed:

• Fabric: small amounts of light weight fabric in two colours
• Light weight iron on interfacing
• 15 1/2" of gross grain ribbon for handles

What you get:

The instructions contain lots of line drawings with easy to follow numbered and lettered steps. Extras to help you file your patterns include a divider page to fit in a plastic pocket and an envelope design to cut out and make. The instruction pages can be printed out as a booklet or full size and folded in half to fit inside the envelope with the pattern pieces.
