EXPERIENCE: Advanced beginner; suitable for the novice seamstress with some experience: only plain sewing skills required; Careful attention to correct seam allowances and neatness is important. Follow the sewing tutorial closely. If you do not have a serger /overlocker use a zigzag or similar stitch on your machine to finish the edges of the seams.
FABRIC: Cotton voile, lawn, homespun, poplin or similar fabrics; also light weight corduroy or velveteen. The Isabelle can be made in one fabric print or in a combination of 2 fabrics. To avoid shrinkage it is advisable to launder cotton fabrics before using.
SIZES: 3m, 6m, 9m, 12m, 2t, 3t, 4t, to fit children 3 months to 4 years. Always check the size chart before you start; chest and height measurements are the best guide for selecting the correct size for your child. The size chart gives body dimensions only; the pattern has ease added.
