This JULAWI pattern shows you how to sew a pair of cute baby shoes. Included are the patterns for five different sizes for preemies, newborns and babies up to 12 months. The baby shoes can be sewn as single or double layer version. The classic version made of two layers of jersey is suitable to be worn at home or as light boots for on the go. Sewed in one layer of jersey you get light summer shoes. For the colder season you can sew the baby shoes from thicker fabrics like jacquard jersey or sweat. You can also combine fleece, plush or teddy fabric with jersey or soft shell to hold little feet nicely warm. The baby shoes have a wider fit, so wearing them over socks or tights is no problem. This pattern contains the templates for two different cuff versions. You can sew the cuff the classic way, which makes the fit more loosely - perfect to pull over rompers or pants. The longer cuff version is folded over and therefore sits tighter on the leg and won’t slip of quickly. No matter which version you chose, the baby shoes are quickly put on and taken off by the stretchy cuff and therefor very practical for the everyday life.
