This JULAWI pattern shows you how to sew a simple and quick hat for preemies and babies. Included are the patterns for three different versions, each in 7 sizes for a head circumference of 33 to 46 cm (13’’-18’’) - for preemies, newborns and babies up to 9 months. You can sew the baby hat in the classic way, in pixie or teddy style. It is slim fit, so the hat has a good fit on little heads without slipping. The hat has no seams at the back and is therefore perfect for the sensitive hats of preemies and babies. All three versions of the baby hat are sewn from stretchy jersey and are therefore soft and very comfortable to wear. The soft cuff ensures a good fit. You can also use thicker fabrics like jaquard jersey, french terry or sweat to get a warmer version. This makes it the ideal hat for all seasons. The baby hat is sewn very easy and therefore suitable for beginners. The sewing tutorial shows you with many pictures step by step how it is done.
