This tutorial explains how to make a crocheted raccoon amigurumi. Lou is a young raccoon of pastel colors with a light blue and light green striped tail. She wears a green mask over her eyes and ears bringing her super powers ! This toy will please babies and toddlers, as well as grown-ups.
The tutorial is of intermediate to advanced level. Knowledge of the magic ring, chain stitch, single crochet stitch, increase and decrease as well as jacquard technique are necessary to make the toy.
The character presented here was made with 6 mm yarn. It is about 50 cm long and 13 cm wide. Done with thinner yarns, the raccoon will be smaller.*
