The American Cowboy Tea Cosy Knitting Pattern is a top dolla tea cosy pattern of this rather handsome Cowboy that will keep your teapot hot. The Cowboy tea cosy was inspired by old Wild West movies; I love a good western and a pot of hot tea.
The cowboy is wearing a black tasselled jacket, and leather chaps with tassels at the sides. He's wearing a red and white checked shirt with a matching red neckerchief. On his head he has the traditional ten gallon hat. His hat is removable which is a nice touch and means that you can reveal his hair. Hanging from his belt he has a pistol and a length of rope.
It's a love tea cosy to knit and although it looks like he's knitted with Fairisle or intarsia it's an illusion. You don't need to be able to ready a chart or work with more than one yarn on a row. I wanted to keep it simple.
The cowboy tea cosy is a bright and cheerful tea cosy that is heartwarming and inviting, perfect for anyone who loves the Wild West.
The American Cowboy tea cosy fits a medium sized tea pot that covers a Teapot that holds 6 to 8 cups or 2 pints.
The pattern will be available for digital download as soon as you have completed purchase, so you could start knitting him very soon!
This product is the knitting pattern only to make your own American Cowboy tea cosy.

I design and knit unique tea cosies. I really love designing exciting and unusual tea cosies, its great fun and people don’t mind having an over the top tea cosy. Plus they are a great talking point at tea time and make for brilliant knitting projects.
I have quite a following with regular customers who regularly buy my latest designs from my website TeaCosyFolk.co.uk
I have had a couple of patterns printed in the Simply Knitting Magazine, which is very exciting.
