Crochet pattern for an acorn squash.
Using double-knitting (DK, light worsted weight, Category 3) yarn and a 3.5mm (US: size E-4) crochet hook, the acorn squash will be approximately 7cm (2.75 inches) long including the stalk and 20cm (8 inches) in circumference.
But using a different weight yarn and an appropriate hook, you can make it the size of your choice.
The fully-illustrated, easy-to-follow pattern includes detailed notes on your choosing your yarn and lots of helpful tips. Plus all my crochet patterns come with my e-mail support if you have any questions.
The pattern also includes a succinct, 1-page, unillustrated version of the pattern written in traditional crochet notation, for ease of printing.
This is one of my range of pumpkin and gourd crochet patterns with which you can make a stunning autumn centrepiece or cornucopia for your home.
This pattern is available in both UK and US crochet terminology. Both files will be available for you on purchase and you can choose whichever you prefer to use.
