The #39 button pullover is a modern style throughout the year.
The straight and casual pattern is easy to sew and through the button bar on the shoulder an eye-catcher. The casual neckline is extra wide and will be hold together by buttons. You can also use other decorative elements or just top-stitch.
Especially comfortable are the extralong sleeves with cuffs. If you prefer usual hems, you can add 3-4 cm more hem allowance.
The pullover can either be made in a short length with cuffed hem or in a longer version with top-stitched hem.
During our tryout sewing french terry or jacquard revealed themselves as most suitable kinds of fabric for the pullover. It is important that the sweat is not too thick and well elastic. The cuffs, too, are designed for french terry. If you want to use rib fabric instead, try the width before attaching, often they can be a little less wide.
The instructions is very elaborate and with many pictures, to ensure that sewing beginners are able to achieve it. Please read the instructions once fully before starting to sew! I wish you have a lot of fun with it!
